Your story stays yours.

What we collect: your account email, the answers you write in the story wizard, any photos you upload, and your finished books. Payments are handled by Stripe — card details never reach our servers.

How we use it: only to generate, store and deliver your keepsake, and to contact you about your order. Photos are used as reference for the illustrations in your own book and nothing else. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Sharing: reveal links are unlisted and excluded from search engines, so only people you send the link to can open the book. AI generation runs through our model providers, who process the content to produce your book and do not receive your account details.

Your control: you can edit or delete a story, its photos and its book from your library at any time, which removes them from our storage. To delete your whole account or request a copy of your data, email hello@deartale.app.
